Welcome to our eTrestleboard - Second Quarter 2026.
In the Trestleboard of the Second Quarter of 2026, our California Hispanic & Latin American Research Lodge presents an edition deeply dedicated to the study, reflection, and dissemination of one of the most evocative contemporary symbols within the Masonic imagination: the Universal Masonic Flag, with its green field, central beehive, and seven bees arranged in a perfect circle.
The green that covers the flag reminds us of perpetual renewal and the immortality of the spirit; the beehive symbolizes the organized society that sustains the common work; and the seven bees represent the active virtues that must guide our conduct. Their circular, equidistant arrangement speaks of order, harmony, and spiritual fullness, integrating European symbolic traditions and Latin American reinterpretations into an emblem that expresses the universal aspiration of the Craft.
Within this bulletin you will find studies, reviews, reflections, and analyses that illuminate this emblem from multiple angles—historical, symbolic, philosophical, and pedagogical. Each article is another stone in the construction of an archive that honors our past and strengthens our identity as Hispanic and Latin American Masons in California.
We invite you to explore these pages with curiosity and pride, knowing that every article, reflection, and historical note contributes to a growing body of knowledge that honors our past and inspires our future.
Thank you for being part of this journey of learning, identity, and fraternity.
